2009 Army Geospatial and Imagery Conference Update

Added by Category: Daily Intelligence Brief

As you all know, today is a very busy week in the world of GEOINT. We have all the United States Geospatial Intelligence Foundation (USGIF) Tech Days-related events going on, as well as the 2009 Army Geospatial and Imagery Conference. USGIF has actually taken over responsibility for the 2009 Army Geospatial and Imagery Conference in conjunction with its annual TECH DAYS event, produced in cooperation with the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA).

This consolidated conference will provide pertinent information to all levels of personnel, particularly those at the tactical level. Addressees’ commands are strongly encouraged to send senior noncommissioned officers and warrant officers, as well as officers and senior civilian personnel to participate in this action packed agenda.

The venue change from Fort Belvoir to the Heritage Conference Center will provide AGIC attendees a unique opportunity to discuss topics under this year’s theme of Building the Enterprise.

AGIC will also have a no-host social during the USGIF Technology Day on Thursday 4 June from 1600 to 1800 with unclassified displays and exhibits at the Hyatt Regency Reston. USGIF will provide shuttle service from the Heritage Center to the Hyatt in the afternoon.

Yes, indeed! This is a busy and very exciting week!
