The company’s name actually comes from the Greek word areté, which means achieving maximum performance and pursuing excellence. Originally founded to solve weak signals in a cluttered oceanic environment, Areté expanded its techniques to solve a set of national security issues and problems.

From a geospatial intelligence perspective, the company is developing solutions for advanced data processing to solve real-life problems and situations.
