Before we get our “Friday’s Food for Thought” post up, we wanted to share a story that broke late last night. Mr. Scott Large, head of the the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO), announced his resignation. Citing no specific reason for the departure, the announcement comes on the heels of all the news about the U.S. government aiming to buy new spy satellites and order more imagery from commercial providers.

No news on where he is going once he leaves the NRO, but we will certainly stay on top of it and keep you posted.
