As our faithful readers know, we have been highlighting all the exciting news that will be happening from the exhibitor floor at GEOINT 2010. Why you ask? Well, the GEOINT world is evolving into the “3.0″ realm and we have to tell you, many of the attending companies, organizations government agencies and members of the academic community are driving this innovation. And, the news cycle is filling up with press releases from exhibitors. So, rather than searching out this news on your own, we were kind enough to pull it all together in one comfortable spot. Geo Tech Newsmakers at Next Week’s GEOINT 2010 Event
A number of companies have shared details with us, describing what they will be offering attendees and visitors to their booth on the exhibition hall floor. Look for a number of interesting announcements and product updates coming out of the Big Easy next week as solution providers offering Geospatial technology and solutions roll out their latest updates and innovations focused on the GIS/Geo/Intel community. Several key GeoInt exhibitors making noise include LizardTech (Booth 326) who will have several big announcements in the coming days; ITT (Booth 257) will have a number of demos of ENVI image analysis and processing solutions – think Automated Image Processing & Analysis, ENVI Image Analysis with ArcGIS, and Automated Hyperspectral Workflows; and Google (Booth 267) who will be sharing the latest Google Earth and Maps applications and features. TerraEchos Wins Frost & Sullivan Award for Adelos S4 System
Kudos to TerraEchos of Missoula, MT. TerraEchos won Frost & Sullivan Award for its Adelos S4 system, which integrates acoustic fiber-optic network arrays and geospatial situational awareness technology for border security and other threat detection applications. U.S. Army to Showcase Award-Winning Geospatial Technology at 2010 GEOINT Symposium
The U.S. Army Geospatial Center (AGC) will demonstrate its award-winning Buckeye program, Geo-referenced PDF project (GeoPDF), and Engineering Field Planning, Reconnaissance, Surveying, and Sketching Set (ENFIRE) during the U.S. Geospatial Intelligence Foundation’s 2010 GEOINT Symposium (New Orleans), November 2-4, at Booth 457. BuckEye is a program that collects high-resolution, 3-D terrain data using a 39-megapixel color camera and Light Detection and Ranging elevation data to produce unclassified 10-15 centimeter resolution imagery for intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) and mapping missions in Afghanistan. Approximately 85,000 km2 and 33,000 km 2 of data, primarily over urban areas, has been collected in Iraq and Afghanistan, respectively. Read the full press release here.
MaxVision Exhibiting Rugged, Portable Computer Workstations and Servers at GEOINT 2010 Symposium
MaxVision will be exhibiting at GEOINT 2010 Symposium, the nation’s largest intelligence event of the year. The event will be held at Ernest N. Polycom to Demonstrate Agency-Critical Telepresence Technologies at the Annual GEOINT 2010 Symposium

Augmented Reality Takes Center Stage in AGI’s Booth at GEOINT 2010
Analytical Graphics, Inc. (AGI) will unveil new software capabilities that bring clarity and enhanced analysis to geospatial intelligence at the GEOINT 2010 Symposium in New Orleans next week. AGI produces software applications and development kits for integrated analysis of space, defense and intelligence systems. AGI will present an augmented reality (AR) implementation that is based on its Insight3D software and integrates tactical decision aids with full-motion video. Booth demonstrations will show how computer-generated ISR graphics such as sensor footprints, threat domes and communication links can be overlaid on streaming video feeds like those delivered from unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). TerraGo Technologies Demonstrates Innovative Geospatial Collaboration Solutions at the GEOINT 2010 Symposium
TerraGo Technologies, a leading provider of geospatial collaboration software solutions, will demonstrate innovative TerraGo GeoPDF® solutionsfor accessing, capturing, and sharing geospatial intelligence at the GEOINT 2010 Symposium in New Orleans, Nov. 2 – 4, in booth 363. Esri to Showcase Complete Geospatial System at GEOINT 2010
National security, defense, and intelligence professionals will get to see demonstrations of Esri’s complete geospatial system for intelligence at next week’s GEOINT 2010 Symposium. The United States Geospatial Intelligence Foundation hosts GEOINT, regarded as the premier geospatial intelligence event in the United States. The symposium will be held November 1–4 at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans, Louisiana. Geographic information system (GIS) software from Esri gives agencies the ability to gather, fuse, analyze, exploit, and disseminate complex intelligence data through a map-driven interface.
