Friday’s Food for Thought: Remembering 9/11
Added by USGIF Category: Friday's Food for Thought
As many of our readers know, our Friday’s Food for Thought post is often peppered with the funny, absurd, sublime and the down-right silly. With this post, we aim to entertain and enlighten (hopefully) our readers as they ride out the last hours of the work week. Today, is going to be very different. On this day, eight years ago, 2,993 innocent people lost their lives in what is the worst terrorist attack on U.S. soil. So, today’s FFT post is going to pay tribute to those who lost their lives, and to those who are fighting to defend our freedom in Afghanistan and Iraq. We have compiled a montage of videos and images from a day we will all remember. Scroll down for more.
