The most epic and premiere event of the year is just 16 days away, and we are counting down! By the way, have you all checked out the commemorative video from 2008? You can view it out here. GEOINT 2009 Still Offers Registration Savings!

NEW! Special Sensor Tutorial at GEOINT 2009
On Sunday, October 18th at GEOINT 2009, there will be a special MIT Lincoln Laboratory Sensor Tutorial from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. in Room 216. The theme for this sensor tutorial is “ISR Capabilities and Trends.” Preliminary topics of discussion include: MTI radar systems, SAR, active and passive electro optics, 3-D exploitation of large 2-D urban photo archives and information theory and ISR decision support system performance. Be sure to check it out!

Rep. Ruppersberger and Dr. Dugan Join Impressive List of Keynote Speakers

USGIF recently announced the addition of Congressman C.A. “Dutch” Ruppersberger, D-Md., Chairman of the House Intelligence Technical and Tactical Intelligence Subcommittee, and Dr. Regina Dugan, Director of the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency, to the GEOINT 2009 Symposium agenda. The congressman will address the GEOINT 2009 audience on Monday, Oct. 18, at 9:15 a.m. Dr. Dugan opens the general session on Tuesday, Oct. 19, with a keynote at 8:15 am. Congressman Ruppersberger is serving his third term in the United States House of Representatives representing the citizens of Maryland’s 2nd District. Congressman Ruppersberger is known as a consensus builder who works with Members from both sides of the aisle to get results for Maryland and the nation. Read more here.

Register for the 2009 Allder Golf Classic
It’s not too late to register for the 2009 Allder Golf Classic, which is the “unofficial” start of GEOINT 2009 at the Quarry Golf Course in San Antonio, Texas.
