IceWEB Announces High Capacity Imagery Notebook Mil-Spec Ruggedized Notebook With Industry’s Largest Hard Drive Capacity
IceWEB, Inc. today announced at the GEOINT show in San Antonio, Texas, the availability of a turn-key Rugged Notebook Computer to allow the DOD, DHS and Intelligence Community to allow forward deployment critical GIS data into virtually any environment. The new Notebook, called “WorldBook,” has the industry’s largest disk capacity currently capable of storing more than 1.28TB of data. Additional features include optional GPS, 3G Wireless, smart card reader and sunlight readable display. Updates to the imagery can be deployed to the field on IceWEB disk-packs and upload with available fire-wire interface. Demonstrations will be available at IceWEB’s booth #809. Appistry Showcases Geospatial Cloud Leadership at GEOINT 2009
Over the past 12 months, cloud computing has taken center stage as a key enabler to deliver scalable geospatial intelligence solutions. To address the increased demand for cloud-based geospatial solutions, Appistry, which offers the leading cloud platform for GEOINT applications, today announced a new offering and partnership, as well as demonstrations of its platform’s capabilities to be shown at the GEOINT 2009 Symposium being held October 19-21 in San Antonio, TX. Appistry and NJVC, one of the largest information technology solutions providers supporting the U.S. Department of Defense, announced a joint cloud computing solution addressing the unique security requirements of the intelligence and defense communities. Northrop Grumman Showcases End-to-End Geospatial Capabilities At GEOINT 2009
Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE:NOC) will feature its end-to-end geospatial solutions to support national security and intelligence next week at the U.S. Geospatial Intelligence Foundation’s GEOINT 2009 Symposium. Northrop Grumman’s geospatial solutions for government, military, and intelligence agencies will be demonstrated at booth 355. Carbon Project Software to Support Near-Real Time Access at GEOINT 2009
The Carbon Project is pleased to announce it will bring its near-real time geospatial access solutions to the GEOINT 2009 symposium on October 18-21, in San Antonio, Texas.
