Once again, GEOINT Tech Days delivered when it came to showcasing the most cutting-edge geospatial technologies and solutions. With more than 500 people attending and 60 plus exhibitors showcasing their latest technologies, this event created a high-level of buzz, and we would like to take some time to showcase some of the most-excellent technologies on display. Scroll down to learn more.

TechniGraphics Blast Analysis
We all like a good explosion. And, TechniGraphics showcased its offering that combines geospatial information analysis with 3D engineering tools for structural simulation and blast analysis. Yes, we are talking about blasts – like an explosion. Lear more here.

Observera Showcased Continuum
We were excited to get a sneak peak of the new interactive tool for spatial-temporal analysis from Observera called Continuum. Still in its Beta phase, Continuum was designed by intelligence analysts to help understand and present relationships between events and their locations. It also offers a time-line view of events and tracks them to specific locations on the global. This products is soo new that they have yet to launched the public site for this, but to learn more about Observera, click here.

LizardTech’s GeoExpress and Express Server
LizardTech showcased its “dynamic duo” for manipulating, compressing and distributing geospatial imagery. It’s all about the ability to quickly manipulate and move data from one place to another. We all know that delays in image access can be very costly and LizardTech mitigates these issues seamlessly with this one-two punch that is GeoExpress and Express Server. Learn more here.

Zebra Imaging’s Holographic Visualization Technology
In what was probably the most dynamic exhibits at GEOINT Tech Days, Zebra Imaging showcased its 3D holographic visualization technology that provides 3D holographic images – in real life. Bottom line is that it was very cool…nothing like staring down at a hologram on the floor and having three-dimensional images jump out at you. And, no need for 3D glasses! Learn more here.

Applied Imagery’s Quick Terrain Modeler
Our friends at Applied Imagery showcased their Quick Terrain Modeler x64 to much fanfare. For those of you not familiar with this offering, it is the 64-bit version of the Quick Terrain Modeler, which allows uses to work with significantly more data, render larger models, analyze data faster and maximize terrain exploitation. Check out more here.

Envitia’s MapLink Pro
We made some friends from “across the pond” with UK-based Envitia. The company exhibited its MapLink Pro, which is a very dynamic mapping application toolkit. Specifically designed for application developers across the defense and security industry, Envitia’s MapLink Pro provides the map and dynamic data handling engine for some of the most well known applications from leading international companies including BAE Systems, Thales, Lockheed, General Dynamics and IBM.
