Geospatial Revolution Project Plays Key Role in Congressional Hearing
Added by USGIF Category: Daily Intelligence Brief
We are excited to announce that the trailer for the highly esteemed Penn State Public Broadcasting public media project entitled “Geospatial Revolution” was played at a hearing of the Congressional Subcommittee on Energy and Mineral Resources last week. The Subcommittee Chair, Congressman Jim Costa, said the trailer made the proceedings “more informative and interactive.” He thanked Penn State and shared his appreciation for the phrase “the location of anything is becoming everything.” All of the presenters also referenced the trailer during their testimony. Good stuff!
You can actually view the, subcommittee proceedings here. Also, as many of our readers know, USGIF donated $50,000 to this most worthy project!
