The holidays are really all about giving back and supporting those who have sacrificed soo much. As such, we wanted our Monday morning post to be about giving and support the troops and to those in need. And there are many ways to show your support this season:

Holiday Mail for Heroes: American Red Cross in a partnership Pitney Bowes aims to deliver one million holiday cards to American service members, veterans and military families in the United States and around the world. The deadline for post marked cards was December 10. However, you can still participate in this program by signing their e-card.

Toys for Tots: The U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program collects new, unwrapped toys during October, November and December each year, and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to needy children in the community in which the campaign is conducted. You can still help out. Donate online here, or look for a drop off location near you.

The Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America: This organization is accepting donations of all sizes. Now, more than ever, IAVA and the 1.7 million men and women who have served, and are currently serving, in Iraq and Afghanistan need your support. The USO is another one of the many charitable organizations supporting our men and women in uniform.
