Intelligence Community in Top 10 Best to Places to Work

Added by Category: Daily Intelligence Brief, General

While this is clearly not a surprise to us, it is certainly nice to see the Intelligence Community (IC) being validated as a great place to work. According to the 2011 Best Places to Work ranking, the IC came in the top 10 at 8th place. The Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. (FDIC) topped the list along with the Nuclear Regulatory Commission, Government Accountability Office, Smithsonian Institute and NASA. Congratulations to our leaders for making the IC an ideal place for driven professionals who are passionate about securing our great nation.

The annual government employee survey is compiled by Partnership for Public Service, which asked employees to assess the leadership, pay, teamwork, training, career development and work-life balance at their agencies. Overall job satisfaction only dropped 1.5 percent, which many believed would have been steeper due to pay freezes and the current political climate.

It is important to note job satisfaction in the IC rose .70 percent in the past year, which is actually laudable because many agencies dipped across the board.

Congratulations again to the IC for making our community an ideal place for employment!

LOL, unlike other departments, all the subscores and workforce stats for the IC are blank. There’s only the top score. Did they pull it out of thin air?
