Each year, USGIF brings on a new board member who represents the foundation’s Young Professionals Group (YPG) and serves as the YPG working group’s chair during his or her one-year term. This YPG board member has full voting power within the board and exemplifies all the qualities of a future leader and represents GEOINT Young Professionals as a whole. Last year, Mr. Alex Martinez, Staff Engineer at Lockheed Martin, served in this role. And, now he is passing the baton the newest YPG board member Mr. Eric Zitz, who is an Associate at Booz Allen Hamilton. Following is an exclusive podcast with both Alex and Eric, who discuss the role of young people in the GEOINT community and much more.
