[...] by Glenn This week I was invited by Matt Langan of the GotGeoint blog (USGIF) to take part in a 15 minute podcast. Now live, the audio cast provides a discussion between Matt and myself with Matt asking me about the development of GISuser and the Spatial Media properties, GIS Web2.0 backgrounder and strategies and related topics… enjoy! Note, we ran short of time and I may not have answered everything fully (this is a live podcast with no editing) so if you need more info feel free to ping me! Check out the podcast HERE [...]
Thanks for taking the time to do the podcast Glenn! Appreciate it!
Matt (and readers… I never did mange to mention some of the things I’m currently working on due to running out of time! A few items of interest include:
- a behind the scenes look at the people behind popular Corporate Geo Twitter accounts
- reading and reviewing a very interesting book from ESRI Press on the ROI associated with implementing a GIS
- a detailed feature looking at Geo-aware social media add-ons
- I also have several hardware devices in my hands for review including a G1, HTC touch, getac rugged handheld etc… also looking at a cool mobile GIS solution from TerraGo
I could go on but I can’t let too much out of the bag!
thanks again Matt
Mayby I’m missing something but I can’t find the link to the podcast here…..
Hi Gerry…thanks for the comment…when you open up the post there is a BlogTalkRadio plug in that automatically plays the podcast. It should work. I just double checked it right now and it’s working fine.
