The political battlefield is heating up surrounding the disclosure that former Vice President Dick Cheney did not disclose a secret counterterrorism program with Congress. Here’s the latest, Pelosi and House Democrats are pushing ahead with plans to hold a series of hearings investigating instances in which intelligence officials may have misled members of Congress. Although, this Op-Ed by Newt Gingrich came out on July 10, it mirrors a key message being touted by the Republicans: Democrats are playing politics with our national security.
