At Hexagon 2011, it was announced that Intergraph, ERDAS, Leica Geosystems and Hexagon Metrology were being combined to better address the urgent need for real-time intelligence for any global situation. In addition, it was also announced that ERDAS and Intergraph were collectively streamline geospatial data revision and updating workflows in both ERDAS Imagine and Geomedia. As we spent time walking the exhibition floor and attending sessions at Hexagon 2011, one thing was very clear: Hexagon is taking proactive steps to provide a complete, competitive geospatial solution. The combination of Intergraph, ERDAS, Leica Geosystems and Hexagon Metrology technologies aims to be a holistic offering for better addressing the urgent need for real-time intelligence for any global situation. What was also interesting is that ERDAS an Intergraph are taking steps to combine their efforts for streamlining geospatial data revision and updating workflows in both ERDAS Imagine and Geomedia.
