It is not very often that the geospatial intelligence tradecraft makes its way into the highest circulation newspaper in the country. Today, Peter Eisler of USA TODAY did a profile piece on the positives and negatives of the NGA using commercial satellite images. Positives: easier to share with nonclassified folks. Negatives: these images could get into the hands of the bad guys. Read the article here and please let us know what you think.
