It’s mid-August and the GEOINT 2009 Symposium is already shaping up to, once again, be the premier event for our community. Today, the United States Geospatial Intelligence Foundation (USGIF) announced more confirmed speakers, which include the Honorable Dennis C. Blair, director of national intelligence, and retired U.S. Air Force Gen. Bruce Carlson, director of the National Reconnaissance Office. Scroll down to learn more.

These esteemed speakers join already confirmed keynote speakers U.S. Navy Vice Adm. Robert Murrett, director of the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA); U.S. Air Force Lt. Gen. David A. Deptula, deputy chief of staff for U.S. Air Force intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance; and the Honorable James R. Clapper Jr., under secretary of defense for intelligence.

Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) Operational Satellite Applications Programme; Jeff Jonas, IBM distinguished engineer and chief scientist, entity analytic solutions, IBM Software Group; and the IC CIOs who all sit on a large panel discussion on Tuesday.
